Colossians 3:12-17 (NIV)

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Starry Joy Kennedy, God has placed you in my life as a testament and a reminder of His love. But He has also given you to me as a responsibility. Therefore I will cherish and respect you, care for you, protect you, comfort you, and encourage you as much as I am able.

When my own strength is not enough, I will support you with God’s strength;
When my own love is not enough, I will give you Christ’s love;
When my own wisdom is not enough, I will know the wisdom of the Holy Spirit;
And by the grace of God we will walk this earth together until Christ comes back or calls us home.

Justin, meeting and getting to know you during these past two years has brought me the greatest joy of my life. I thank God for you and all the loving care and encouragement you've given me even in this short time. I feel privileged to find myself a suitable helper for you, and commit to the role of supporting, encouraging, comforting, and honoring you, in a way no other can, as together we endeavor to become all we were made to be. I know this won't always be easy, therefore
