This conversation occurred last night.  Starry is already in bed and the lights are off.  I'm coming in with a glass of water that I usually keep on my nightstand.

Her: What are you doing?

Me: Trying to put this glass of water down so it doesn't spill.  Otherwise it might fall and splash all over the bed and that would not be good.

Her: It would be okay as long as some of it splashed in my mouth.

Me: Would you like a drink of water?
